Hello all you lovely flowering embers,
My name is Ashliana Brooke Willow, and I am a 28 year old woman with a degree in CS, and a passion for writing. As a staunch social justice advocate and historical preservation researcher, Ashliana hopes to bring about reflection, and positive social change through her works and writing. In addition to her work in writing, I am also a streamer who provides talk therapy to those who want it and find comfort in speaking with her. I also currently working on writing, producing, and directing, a documentary about the Native Alaskan Genocide in Portland from the early 1900s. The voices of whom were harmed and history not preserved, are the focus and centerpiece of what is important in this work. The work I am doing for my documentary I consider to be for those who’s voices I am including and families who still do not know what happened to their loved ones from this tragic genocide, and not for myself or anyone else of whom are only there to understand and listen. To hear the hurt individuals voices, and to help heal the harm of the institutionally caused damage.
Beyond my historical works, I am working on a tabletop souls-strand-like americana satire game as well as a video game. Additionally, I desire to continue learning my directing skills, and I hope to branch out my writing into other more reflective, and also less biographical writing pursuits. In turn, I hope to continue my creative efforts and community loving actions.
